15 years of knowledge and experience as an OSINT Open Source Investigative Journalist, it is my personal view that the Israeli Spring events were deliberately portrayed in the headlines as a protest by a political leader, particularly in the spring of 2022.
The October 7th Al-Aqsa Flood and What Happened Behind the Scenes
Indeed, when viewed in terms of web scope and depth, a social reality reflecting the power struggle between the ruling party and the opposition in Israel was apparent.
However, when I looked at the scale and depth of the Deep Web and followed the digital traces, I saw a social reality beyond a political struggle. A genocide was being negotiated.
Theodor Herzl ignited the spark for the establishment of a Jewish state in 1896. With the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, Britain, which had gained control of the region known as Palestine, issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917.

With the rapid increase in Jewish immigration, violent clashes occurred between Jews and Palestinians throughout the 1920s and 1930s. Hundreds of people from both sides lost their lives in the initial clashes.
In 1936, Palestinian Arabs launched a large-scale uprising against British rule, known as the Arab Revolt. Their demands were for the Arabs to gain independence and for an end to Jewish immigration and the policy of purchasing land.
Historians say that more than 5,000 Arabs were killed and more than 15,000 Arabs were wounded until the uprising ended in 1939.
Following the British government’s announcement in 1947 that it planned to end its mandate in Palestine, the United Nations (UN) member states adopted Resolution 181.
The resolution called for the partition of Palestine into Jewish and Arab states and for Jerusalem to be placed under UN administration.
On 14 May 1948, the British Mandate in Palestine came to an end and Israel declared its independence.
Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Iraq occupied the region. The Egyptian and Jordanian armies were leading the charge on the ground.
Israel defeated the Arab armies and then occupied the areas allocated to the Palestinian Arabs in the 1947 plan.
The war ended in January 1949 with the signing of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Egypt, which was later joined by Lebanon, Jordan and Syria.
The right of Palestinians to return or receive compensation was also recognised internationally by Resolution 194, adopted by the UN General Assembly on 11 December 1948.
According to UN data, there are currently approximately 5 million Palestinian refugees, including first-generation refugees and their children.
In 1998, Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat declared 15 May an official day of remembrance.
In 2022, a first in UN history took place, and the UN General Assembly requested that this anniversary be commemorated on 15 May 2023.
Here, it must be acknowledged that after July 2022, there was a different reality in Israel than a mere government-opposition conflict. Netanyahu’s political helplessness, which reached a critical point in 2022, awakened the sleeping serpent that had been dormant since 1948.
Those who read about the events of 7 October via the superficial web have only read what they saw on their screens. Not only society, but also the political, diplomatic and even media forces that shape societies’ perceptions have failed to see behind the scenes of the events of 7 October.

Although initial discussions had begun earlier, the decision-making and commitment meetings took place in November 2022. So, we must begin with this question… Why did Hamas choose a type of attack we have not been accustomed to for half a century? Why did it carry out the 7 October attack against Israel, which possesses the world’s greatest intelligence, defence and offensive capabilities, using a method and technique that even the indigenous peoples of Africa would not employ?
Yes, Hamas has long fought against Israel using guerrilla tactics, namely hit-and-run tactics. But for the first time, it attempted an action near the outposts that monitor the Gaza Strip 24/7, both in the morning and in the air, with no protection or security measures in place?
Hamas raided a US intelligence centre located in Israel. The raid was successful and a great deal of critical information and files were seized. Israel was unaware of this raid on the intelligence centre before it was reported in the media. Was there no full disclosure of information and documentation on this matter? The incident was covered up because it posed a threat to US-Israeli internal and external security, successfully seized by Hamas and US special envoys. Only the information that the US had informed Israel of the possibility of an attack before 7 October was shared.
Hamas launched its operation on 7 October, naming it the Al-Aqsa Flood in reference to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, alluding to Israel’s בויוק וסון אויאניש target. The message was directed not only at Israel but at the entire Islamic ummah.
The Al-Aqsa Flood is not an attack carried out in the conventional manner of striking and entering a tunnel. Hamas is the world’s most eclectic group of fighters. There is a very serious hierarchy within the Hamas organisation; a person’s fighting abilities alone are not considered sufficient reason to join the organisation. Many people around the world, even soldiers, have requested to join Hamas, but Hamas has rejected these requests. While Hamas does not object to logistical support, it has been very reluctant to accept volunteer soldiers, rejecting them with very few exceptions. This position has been repeatedly stated in statements made on behalf of Hamas under the symbolic name of Ubu Ubade. The call was made: “We do not need soldiers; pray and help the oppressed Palestinians.”
It is stated that 1,313 individuals were selected from among nearly 40,000 soldiers who participated in the Aksa Storm on 7 October as a symbolic number. And all 1,313 of them are Quran memorizers. In accordance with the Fiqh of War, the selected ones were told by Anas ibn Malik, a companion of Muhammad (pbuh), that when Muhammad (pbuh) went to war, he addressed his soldiers, saying, ““In the name of Allah, with Allah’s grace and in accordance with the religion of the Messenger of Allah (to wage jihad) March forth. Do not kill the elderly, children, or women. Do not steal from the spoils of war; gather your spoils and keep them in a proper manner. Behave well, for Allah loves those who behave well.”(Abu Dawud, Jihad, 90; Neylu’l-Evtar, 7/246)
In the name of Allah, set out on your journey; strive in the way of Allah; if there is an agreement between you and the people you are fighting, abide by it; do not transgress; do not commit mutilation (desecrating the bodies by cutting off their noses and ears) to those you kill in a lawful battle; do not kill children, the elderly, women, or people in places of worship. (Musnad, 1/300; Abu Dawud, Jihad 82; Sunan al-Kubra, 9/90). Abu Bakr also gave the following instructions to Usama, whom he sent to Syria: “O Usama! You may encounter people who have taken refuge in temples along the way; do not touch them, do not interfere with their worship. ” (Ibn al-Athir, 2/335). Why was the Al-Aqsa Flood held near the Nova Music Festival? Why was this location chosen? Firstly, the Gaza Strip was monitored by 24/7 observation posts along this route. Ninety-five per cent of the soldiers stationed here were women. Many of the organisers of the Nova Music Festival were also soldiers stationed at these posts. The choice of this location was a serious strategic move.
Another important point is that the attack could have been carried out at night, but as this was deemed inappropriate according to Islamic law, it was decided to carry it out after morning prayers. Many soldiers stationed at police stations were at the festival grounds. The strongest evidence of this is that there were no soldiers in the observation rooms where the first attack took place.
Hamas did not launch attacks to kill civilians in areas where civilians were present. One of the first attack points was a military site.

- 1- Most of the festival attendees were alcohol users, while a small proportion were substance abusers.
- 2- If forensic medical analyses had been carried out on those attending the festival who showed signs of sexual violence, the truth would have come to light. Instead of a scientific team of experts, Israel made the ZAKA – Body Collectors – organisation, whose reliability is questionable, the sole authority.
- 3-It is a social reality that people may be in their nightclothes when the attack occurs in the early hours of the morning.
